I didn't find the marriages you mentioned.I did find the birth of Margaret Elizabeth Merritt, born June 11, 1843 in Williamsburg, the daughter of Butler and Victoria Merritt.
(Williamsburg vital records)
I also found the death record for Victoria H. Merritt, died Jan. 16, 1856 in Williamsburg, Mass. at the age of 52.She was born in Williamsburg, the daughter of Elijah and Amy Hemenway.(Williamsburg vital records)
I also found more on Victoria's family in the "DeKalb County, Illinois Biographical Dictionary", page 726:
Ichabod Hemenway (Victoria's grandfather) was a native of Framingham, Mass.(Baptized March 2, 1745 in Framingham, the son of Ichabod Hemenway & Elizabeth --)He was a patriot of the Revolution and was in the actions at Saratoga and Schuylerville (now Herkimer) NY and in other important battles.(He enlisted as a private in Capt. Russell Kellogg's Company, Col. Ezra May's regiment on August 17, 1777)He was one of the first to locate at Williamsburg, wither he went on foot from Framingham, carrying an ax, Hampshire County then being in its primitive condition and covered with heavy timber. He improved a farm and resided there until his death about 1823.(He was buried Oct. 17, 1823 in Williamsburg)
Victoria's parents were Elijah Hemenway and Amy Budlong.Elijah Hemenway was born Jan. 4, 1784, the son of Ichabod Hemenway and Lucretia Southard.Elijah married Amy Budlong on Aug. 17, 1803.Their daughter, Victoria, was born in Williamsburg in 1804.They also had a son, Victoria's brother, Henry B. Hemenway, born in Williamsburg on June 17, 1813.There were two other kids, in case you're interested.Mary Ann, born in 1811 and Charles, born May 12, 1815.
In September, 1836, the Hemenway family -- Elijah, Henry and their wives and kids -- set out for Illinois.(This must've been after Victoria's marriage to Butler Merritt because she remained in Williamsburg)The family traveled overland at first to the Erie Canal, and then traveled down the Erie Canal to Buffalo, NY.From there they took a steamer to Chicago, whence they went by team to what is now Du Page County. The land had not been surveyed and the elder Hemenway (Elijah) made a claim in what is now Wayne township. This was his home until his death in 1862.His wife (Amy) died in 1860.
Victoria's brother, Henry Hemenway settled in the town of Wayne, Illinois. He enlisted in Company C, 12th Illinois Cavalry. At Harper's Ferry he was taken prisoner, being captured in August, 1862.He was held 5 days and released on parole, when he came home and in September, 1862 he was honorably discharged on account of illness.
In 1870 Henry sold his farm in Wayne and moved to Sycamore in DeKalb County, Illinois. He and his wife (Eunice Guild, whom he married in Conway, Mass. on April 14, 1836) had 8 children.
Ichabod Hemenway (the father of Victoria's grandfather) was born in Framingham, Mass. on April 20, 1706, the son of Ichabod Hemenway and Margaret Brown.(Framingham vital records)
