Their marriage record says that Leonce J. Jobin of Rumford, 25, born in "Holowell" (Hallowell), married, Imelda L. Beliveau of Rumford, 27, born in Lewiston. They were married 28 Apr. 1920 in Rumford. Leonce's parents are given as Frank Jobin of Augusta, a "R. R. Man" born in Maine, and May McGill, deceased, born in the United States.
I can't find Leonce's birth record, but the birth records of his siblings give Frank C. Jobin's place of birth as St. Marie, Quebec, and Mary E. McGill's place of birth as St. John, New Brunswick.
Mary E. Jobin, born in St. John, N. B., died 28 Mar. 1899 in West Gardiner, Maine, aged 33 years. Her parents were Lawrence and Mary (Gerry) McGill, both of Ireland.
I find Frank and his children living in Augusta in 1900:
Frank and Mary appear to have had a child in Bethelehem, New Hampshire, before coming to Maine:
