In the genealogy section, page 87 88 I find: KATELY John KATELY, a waver, came with his sister Hannah to Colrain from Boston in 1750 and bought lalnd in the first division.Hannah also owned land in Colrain bef. 1751, and was the first exponent of Women's Lib in the town.She evidentlhy died unm.John m. at Deerfield Aug. 29, 1751, Margaret Stewart, dau, Charles and Mary (AYRES) b. Londonderry, NH Oct 4, 1731;d. Shelburne Dec 30, 1830.John Kately d. Colrain abt 1753.His wid. m. (2) John ANDERSON and (3) James STEWART, Jr.
