Pat, the book, "The History of Woodland, Michigan, 1837-1987" has a street view that includes Ma Brock's restaurant. It is hidden by the post office and is not very visible.
We lived in Woodland and my dad used to go to coffee there on Saturday mornings when I was a girl. He sometime would take me along. Ma Brock was in a wheelchair and I remember being impressed with her being able to cook while in that wheelchair. Dad became friends with her and her handicapped son, Ivan. Dad could converse with him pretty well, although I had a hard time understanding him.
