Wow! This is incredibly helpful information - there are quite a few names that I do not have in my records and, as you well know, these are all wonderful clues in the search for still more information. :)
I very much appreciate your help - please let me know if I can be of assistance to you. I'm researching the following names in Michigan:
Maternal lines - Dufore-Deford-Duford, Renaud-Renault-Reno, Endlein-Endeline-Endline, and Konrad/Conrad in Bay, Midland, and Genesee Counties; Case, Barrigar, Guilford and Smith in Tuscola, Ingham, and Genesee Counties; and Toole-O'Toole, Manion or Madigan, and Mills(Livingston County, NY to Genesee County, MI).
Paternal lines - Daoust-Deau-Daust, Cotuan-dit-Latour, Champeau-Champoux-Campeau, Mainville-Mayville, and Benoit in Alpena and Genesee Counties (out of Beauharnois, Quebec); and Bedard-Bidard-Bedore, Ouellette, and Fortier in Alpena and Genesee Counties (out of Ste-Henedine, Quebec). The Cotuan-dit-Latour and Champeau lines are a ways back, in Beauharnois, and may not have migrated into Michigan. I am also trying to find a Paquette connection to my paternal lines in Alpena, as I am told that they are related to us.
If you are working on any of these lines, I may have information for you - just let me know.
