WILLIAM PHILLIP HALL (28 AUG 1885 - 11 DEC 1918)
Phillip Hall died the morning of Dec. 11, 1918, at 5 o'clock, from influenza, at his hom in Sage township. He was born Aug. 28, 1885, at Napanee, Ont. When he was about two months old the family moved to Gladwin county and settled in Sage township, where he lived pratically all his life. Deceased was a graduate of the Gladwin high school in the class of 1903, and has been an industrious and hard working young man. He was married to Miss Ethel Demaray April 12, 1914, who with three small children, is bereft of the husband of her youth. Services were held from the home Dec. 13, conducted by Rev. A. J. Hettler. Burial in Ridge cemetery. Six members of the I. O. O. F., of which he was a member, acted as pallbearers. He leaves to mourn his death; his wife and three children, his father, three sisters and two brothers, besides other relatives and friends. How little we know what is before us! We make our plans, but suddenly all is changed. May the God of all good and mercy comfort the sorrowing ones.
