Hi - I saw the New Orleans passenger list 1848 Where Alexandre and Marguerite came with Auguste & Joseph. Auguste & Marie came on same ship (London) with Celestine & Louis. Marie must have been carrying Victorine(Victoria) as she was born 1848Ohio Louis married Julia A. in 1881 and had the 2 boys & 1 girl. Ernest marr Emily b 1889 & lived in Detroit, Electrician for RR. no kids that I found.but Louis born July 8, 1886 marries to ? ?died before 1920. Louis was a doctor & in Harbor beach,Mi in 1915 as Louis J. born Nov. 15 there. He was in Snover, Mi in 1941 as young Louis visited him there on his way into AirF. Dr. Louis died in St. Clair Ct, Near Port Huron, Mi. There are pages on Google about young Louis and his stint in the Air Force. There is a Sebille plaque at Selfridge Airforce Base, Mt. clemens, Mi.dedicated to young L. He was working in Chicago as an M.C. for Soho Club & other clubs prior to his enlistment Dec. 1941.Victoria never marr but came to live with Julia in 1920 at Julia's Fort Street House in Detroit. Celastine had a millinary shop in Detroit. NOW - I am not a relative. I am just trying to help Mr. Defrain in HB about young Louis and the story of his M.C. in Chicago. Mr. Defrain has a file folder on Louis and his service.I will find out more next Tues. when I have lunch with Mr. Defrain.
