Delores Victoria Mousseau, 77, of Kinde, passed away at her home Saturday, July 18, 2009 under hospice care, with her family at her side.
She was born June 16, 1932 to the late Floyd E. and Victoria R. (Peyok) Krinkie in Grindstone City.
Delores Krinkie and Maurice Mousseau were married May 8, 1948 at St. Mary’s in Dwight.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dwight, and also of St. Edward’s in Kinde. Delores was a member of the Altar Society, Holy Rosary Sodality and the Kinde Fire Department Lady’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling up north, watching wildlife and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Maurice; two daughters, Yvonne “Bonnie” Clancy of Armada and Pat (Dennis) Weber of Filion; four grandchildren, Brenda (Ron) Szalka of Armada, Dr. Sheri (Troy) Rice of Fenton, Paul (Shannon) Weber of Fenton and Joseph Sefton of Mackinaw City; three great-grandchildren, Acadia and Carson Szalka and Lucy Weber; one brother, Ernest Krinkie of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by a son, Donald Mousseau; one brother, Floyd Krinkie; one sister, Arlene Kerr; brother in-law, Jim Kerr; and sister in-law, Peggy Krinkie.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dwight, with burial in St. Edward’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today with Rosary by the Altar Society and the Holy Rosary Sodality at 4 p.m., and a scripture service at 7 p.m., and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the MacAlpine Funeral Home – Gage Chapel in Kinde.
