I went to this cemetery searching for the grave site of Martha Hand Tomer Stone who was born in 1781 and died on August 24, 1855. I could not find a grave stone, however, I did find three Tomer graves side by side. I am wondering if these could be relatives of her husband John Tomer who was born in 1777 in Bergen, New Jersey and lived in Stueben New York with Martha. His exact death date is unknown, but before 1819.The three Tomer graves are:
Joseph Tomer born about October 6,1818 died April 11, 1850
Chester A. Tomer born about February 6,1821died November 15, 1860
Fred K. (Tomer) son of Clarre (or Clarrise hard to read)Tomerdied March 6, 1860. His stone was deeper in the ground and hard to read birth but he was a younger child about 5 years.
Is anyone familiar with this family's ancestry? Does anyone know how to find out Martha's exact grave site there? My Tomer line is as follows: Christopher Damer/Thomer 1730 Germany/came to New Jersey and married Elizabeth Webster.
