Adrian Daily Telegram, Wednesday, January 09, 2008, pg A2 William Edward O’Very Obit ADRIAN — William Edward O’Very, age 68, of Adrian passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at his home. He was born in Adrian on Nov. 5, 1939, to John and Ola Emmaline (Crosby) O’Very. On Oct. 24, 1964, Bill married Connie Seigneur in Adrian and she survives. Bill graduated from Adrian High School, Jackson Community College and Toledo University. He worked for ADA Security and Lenawee Court Services. He was also apartment manager for the Masonic Temple Apartments. Bill was a member of the Tecumseh Lodge #69, Past Master Adrian Blue Lodge #19, Temple Board President, Commandry and Scottish Rite, Past President Zenobia Shriners Highlander Unit of Toledo, where he also served as Assistant Director, dinner chairman, trustee and guard in the Highlander Band, Highlander Past Presidents Club, Lenawee County Friends of the NRA, NRA safety instructor, Michigan Mufon, and an honorary member of Clan Gala. Bill loved working and supporting Adrian’s “The Haunting.” He was an avid gun collector, sportsman and rock hound. Bill enjoyed making dream catchers, jewelry and a researcher in many areas of interest. He was a charter member of the Faith Baptist Church, Adrian. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by one daughter Lisa Marie O’Very of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one sister, Dorothy Roberts of Hudson; several nieces and nephews, and two God grandchildren, Caleb and Alexia Handy of Hawaii. Bill was a father figure to many. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, with Dave Coy officiating.
