John Toncray was a neighbor of Jacobus Davis. Between 1840 and 1850 his first wife died and he married a Gertrude Unknown. In the 1860 census Gertrude Toncray(blind from cataracts) and her son are staying with Henry Davis and his wife Mary Ann. Henry's land is a portion of that held originally by Jacobus. Perhaps Gertrude is a daughter of Jacobus.
