My niece has been posting mis-information on differentgenealogy webpages claiming that Peter Tebo was her great-grandfather Francis Clarence Tebo's biological father. But I recently found evidence to prove her information totallywrong.
I have a marriage record which shows that on March 13,1899 Mary Bouch had married a Robert Johnson/Johnston and had one child with him.According to a divorce decree dated July 10,1903 several wittnesses had testified that Mary Johnson(nee Boucha) was co-habitating with Edward Dumas while posing as man and wife (aka Edgar and had my father Francis Clarence Tebo (who's last name would've reallybeen Dumas/Dumont)
Peter Tebo only had 3 wives and had no children with either one of them. From what I found out Peter Tebo was a widower at the time he took my father in and my father took on the Tebo name.
Chief Joesph Santigo's sister Elizabeth Lozon adopted my father's brother Alex of which I have a picture of Alex taken with someDumas cousins.
It's ashame when some people post mis-information on the internet before they verify their facts.
I've been researching my family history for over 13 years and always verify to the best of my ability the infobefore I post about it or share it with other people.
