I looked in the Michigan birth/marriage/death records and I could not find any records of the 5 kids.
However I think we can assume that one daughter lived long enough to marry a man named Mr. Clancy, and give birth the George Clancy in 1877.
If this daughter was 20 years old when she had her baby, then that means her date of birth is about 1857.
I don’t understand why none of these kids ever showed up in a census record and I don’t understand why there is no record in the birth/marriage/death records.
