I live in Allendale Twp. but am not familiar with the "Conger area." Can you tell me more about that name? In "The 1876 Atlas of Kent and Ottawa Counties" there is a J. Wolbrink who owned 80 acres in section 28 (W 1/2 of SW). It shows a building on the map; I know the old house there was just remodeled in the last few years and the barn was replaced. A mile to the west the area is called Rusk, so I am curious about that Conger name.
There is also an H.D. Wolbrink with 120 acres in sections 28 and 29, and a G.H. Wolbrink with 80 acres in sections 34 and 35. On the map Wolbrink is spelled Walbrink for all of the above. There are still Wolbrinks in the township. Do you know Jacob's wife's name or his ancestry?
