Hello Brandy, Contrary to what you wrote about the 1930 census for St Clair Co / Port Huron not having been captured online, it is indeed accessible except you must learn how to manipulate the data. I did as you probably did and keyed in Fred S Jones -- no such person listed for St Clair Co. I then keyed in Fred Jones and after the 13000 Jones came up, I narrowed my search to Fred Jones of Michigan. There were only 2 of them listed, one is the Fred S Jones you are looking for. I have copied the entire page and also snippets of it in case you can't find him yourself. In addition, once you know the ED number and page number- in this case the SHEET number" you can view the census page online without the index by skipping to the sheet number. This is somewhat cumbersome but it is helpful when you know that the person resided in that place but was perhaps indexed under a different spelling of the name such as 'Jonas' instead of Jones. If you bring up the 1930 census for St Clair Co / Port Huron Twp ED 32, you should be able to find him on image 38 of 57. I haven't tried it but the image number was shown in the top of the screen. Let me know if you can't locate your Fred and I'll forward the info to you.
