I found that Svea and her daughter arrived in the United States at Ellis Island, New York.I can see the scan of the ship's manifest, the passenger list. ellisisland.org is a free website, you just have to sign up.
It says that she is going to her husband Knut Peters, who lives at the address 413 Cedar Avenue south, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
You can use google maps to see that place.I've driven past it several times in the past 5 years. It is near the place where the bridge over the Mississippi River fell into the river just a few years ago. it's in an area called Cedar Riverside, on the West bank of the Mississippi river, near the University of Minnesota today.(not then.) Back then it was an area nicknamed Snoose Boulevard, (Snusgatan) filled with Swedes.
They probably lived in an apartment there, it is not a single family house.
If you look at the google map, the freeway system that surrounds it was not there until the 1960's. Now the area is primarily immigrants from Somalia.
The Ellis Island website shows that Svea was born in Sundsvall, and her daughter Vera born in Stockholm.
It says Svea was 6 feet tall- tall for a woman even now. It says Wera instead of Vera. The next of kin or family member back in Sweden was Svea's sister Olivia Fällt, Rorsjö, östavall, Sverige
