hi there!
I was soo glad to see this!
I am the great great great great great grandchild of Johan Ludvig.
He left two of the children (axel ludvig and emma kristina) and his wife (anna kajsa) in Sweden, because the children had spots . Emma Christina had 10 children, of wich one of them: Linnea Eulalia, born 1899 is my great great grandmother.
I have pictures and also scanned letters (of very poor quality).
I know my great grandmother was trying to find the family in America but back then it was so much more difficult.
to me the family history is very vivid-since my great grandmother passed away at an age of 97 (in 1996). (I was born in 1969 so every time I saw her she talked of the family and especially her uncle Axel. Her mother Emma Kristina passed away at 1917 from the flu, her husband (Johan Adrian Ekberg) had passed away 5 years earlier.
looking forward to her more news!Axel Wahlin is buried at Hvena church in Småland.
