If you look at the 1900 census for the Shumachers, it shows their immigration years. They are living with their son I would guess, in 1900.What is interesting in Fredrica's census record is that she is the mother of the head of household, Herman Shumacher.It also says she has only had one child, which is Herman.So I think that adds to the proof that Anna living with them on the 1880 census was NOT her natural born daughter.
