Sarah L. Foster Cox died of pneumonia in 1905 in the mountains of Arkansas after she washed a load of clothes for her boys. This was family tradition. I looked up the ages of my grandfather and his brothers and my grandfather was not married to his wife until 1907 and neither were his brothers. Sarah's daughter was married in 1905. I always wondered why noone ever talked about their mother. So, just trying to remedy some things such as documenting her heritage with testing my dna under Family Finder. This is where I saw the surnames Bond, Hawkins, McMillen and others but noticed these were in Morgan co. area where my grandfather William Newton Cox told the draft board he was born. (His sisters said he was born in Hannibal and have not found any proof of this in 15 years.)Thank you so much for helping our family. Have a great new year.
