Carrying the "Hettinger" surname a little further, there are some Hettinger names also in this cemetery. There is a Verne b. 1902, and then he might possibly be a brother to your Jorae, (note this in only a hunch, and a hunch in genealogy is only a lead that needs further research), and his parents are listed as "Leslie & Della Hettinger."
If I may, I recommend to take a look at a couple of things.First would be the US Census records for Clinton County, and then it might be helpful to search as many of the cemetery records as possible.
In the 1870 Census (Clinton County, MI) there are:
JORAE - estimated year of birth
Anthony - 1867 Joseph - 1855 Mary - 1865 Nichols - 1861 Stephen - 1858 Theodore - 1868 Theressa - 1826 Victor - 1822
More information is available, and I need to update my subscription to ancestry.com, otherwise I could provide more. However, they have a free introductry offer.I'm not advertising, but have found this to be most helpful in my family research -- right at my fingertips in the comfort of my home!It looks like this family has quite a history in the area, well worth looking into.
