I rescue old photographs from antique shops and auctions. I found an 8X10 sepiatone, of one handsome soldier and the year 1946 is written on the back of it, along with the name Kenneth Dunbar. The antique shop was in St. Johns, Michigan. I located this photo November 15, 2002.
I would like to place this in the hands of family who would appreciate it. All I ask is what I paid for it, the cost of a sturdy mailer and postage. I will send a file, via e-mail if you wish to see it, to see if he could be yours. There is also a small wallet size snapshot and it identifies the five soldiers in it-Dunbar, being one of them. It also says, "Camp in England" on it. I picked it up from the same box.
I believe it's from WWII era and a shame that it isn't with family who knew him or still knows him.
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you think he's yours.
