Thanks for the help.I have checkedAncestry, com, Footnote.com, Missouri State Archives and other places and came up with the same information.Matthias was part ot Co. B, 2nd Mo. Infantry.Fought at Lexington. Was taken prisoner at Rose Hill.In prison at the Gratiot Street Prison.Several months later joined Col. Dorsey. Then joined Col. Slayback and was orderly Sgt. until the end of the war.The family was definitely Pro-South.John named his yougest son Henry "Price"Barker in Texas.
What I need is this:Does anyone have proof that the brothers fought in Clark's Regiment?Proof that the John and Henry Barker found on the roll are the same that lived in LIncoln County MO.
Thank you for any help
