I am researching my GG GF Austin Honeycutt, born 1834 NC. He showed up in 1850 Texas Co, MO census, age 18, working in a mill, single. He was in Webster County, MO in 1860 age 26, born NC, with wife Anna (Deckard?), b. IN. Children: Jacob, Caroline, James M. and Nathan. Between 1860 and 1870 the family moved to Taney County, MO, where apparently Austin had died by the 1870 census. The 1870 census lists Anna and children, Jacob, Caroline, James, Nathan, Deborah, Rachel Jane.
Living in next household on Webster Co, MO 1860 Census, was Sampson Honeycutt, b.1832, NC & family. He was age 32, born about 1828, NC. His wife Sarah was 24, bn AR. Their children were Moses, 5, born AR, William, 10 mos, born AR. Living in same house was Susanah Honeycutt, 50, b. NC and Nancy Honeycutt, 23, b. NC.
