As a hobby, I rescue old photos from antique shops, auctions and estate sales. I recently obtained one, which is framed and in nice shape.
The photo is of a man w/ a moustach and goatee, dressed in a suit with a tie. Written in elegant handwriting, across the bottom is: Faithfully yours, P.J. Haus.
It was framed in Milwaukee. I'm assuming, although not 100% sure, that the photo was taken somewhere in the area. I did obtain it from an auction in North Carolina. How they obtained it, I don't know & it might not have anything to do with Mr. Haus at all.
My best guess in the time frame, is late 1880's-1920's.
I'd like to find family, to return him to. All I ask is to be reimbursed what I paid for it plus postage.
