I found in my grandmother's photo album 2 photos taken by a photographers shop in what looks like Hartington, Nebraska.
Written underneath are the names, the man Charles Russell, and beneath the woman is Rose Russell (Bonhotal). It appears to have been taken maybe around 1900 from the clothing. The man does not have a high coller, just ordinary, with a wide knot on the tie, and very wide lapel on the jacket, and he has the usual large moustache . She is dressed rather severly , high neckline, hair done up tightly in a bun and a pillbox type hat on the back of her head. These may have been wedding pictures as they appear to be in mid 20s or 30.
I know the woman tobe a relative as the name Bonhotal is a family name. I do know there may have been a Eugene Bonhotal somewhere in Nebraska in the late 1800. He was born in France 1849 abt, I have been unable to find any records in Nebraska for any births deaths of marriage of any of these people.
I know this is a terrific long shot but would be thrilled with any info.
