Rosy Valentine Coulson Bell - Pueblo Chieftain - February 09, 2000 - Rosy Valentine Coulson Bell passed away Feb. 2, 2000, in Pueblo. Rosy was born to Mary and Oliver Coulson on Feb. 14, 1905, in Omaha, Neb. On June 17, 1950, she married Merle S. Bell and moved from Omaha to Pueblo. She was a longtime NW Bell employee before her retirement. Rosy was a member of the Broadway Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter No. 144 and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1977; sisters, Lillian Ruberti and Gladys Belitz; and a brother, Walter Coulson. Her survivors include nieces, Sandy (John) Belitz Horan of Suwanee, Ga., Sharon Coulson and Linda Foster, both of San Diego, Calif., Susan Coulson of La Mesa, Calif., and Michelle Coulson of El Cajon, Calif.; nephew, Michael Coulson of La Mesa, Calif.; great and great-great-nieces and nephews; as well as a sister-in-law, Bernice Coulson of La Mesa, Calif. Mrs. Bell will lie in state from 3 until 7 p.m. today at the mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, in the Davis Memorial Chapel. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in the Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, Neb.
