My great-great grandfather Ezekiel Perry was in Knox County, Nebraska, in the 1880 Census. He was then 81 years old and living with his son-in-law Charles Addison Parkhurst and daughter Mary Adaline (Perry) Parkhurst. (My great-grandfather Alfred Bennet Perry, s. of Ezekiel, was half-brother to Mary.) In the 1885 Nebraska State Census I find Charles and Mary Parkhurst but no Mr. Perry suggesting he might have died by then. I am trying to find some information on the marriages of Ezekiel Perry and it has proved difficult. One thing that would certainly help would be a family Bible record. Some of the information I do have suggests there is or was such a record. If it existed a possibility would be that it was handed down to descendants of the people Ezekiel appears to have spent his last days with, that is to say, the Parkhursts, who again were in Knox County, Nebraska. So, in other words, today there may be a descendant of these people who would have access to such a record or know of its whereabouts, from which a copy might be made. A long shot, perhaps, but I would be interested in any possible leads or information.
