In 1881 my Grandmother became a foster child at the age of 2 years old when her mother died and her father was hospitalized and was unable to care for her. Her foster parents took her in and she grew up in Plattsmouth, NE. I have records from the cemetery as to where her foster parents were buried. I have been to Plattsmouth and it is my opinion that this is most likely where your search will lead you. This cemetery has very good records and are willing to help you.
I sugggest that you write the cemetery and ask for the burial records of the person that your seeking. They were helpful to me I would assume that they would do the same for you. I would enclose a self addressed stamped envelope as they are more likely to respond if this is done for them.I got a very quick response I hlpe you do as well. Please let me know if you get a positive response as I have given this same advice one other time but have not heard if it was helpful or not.
