I had found Vaclav "James" Benes just a few days after I posted this, but didn't have birthdates, death dates, etc. I really appreciate you providing me with this info. I will definitely check into the info. on his son James since I have non of his military record info.

Found the ship and arrival on EllisIsland.com They arrived in American on Jun 08, 1904. The ships name was The Kaiser Wilhelm II. Listed on the passenger list is Vaclav Benes, Theresie and their daughter Marie. They sailed from Brennan on May 31st, 1930 and arrived at the port of New York on June 8th, 1904. Vaclav's occupation is listed as shoemaker, he is able to read and write, Nationality (Country of last permanent residence) is Austria, race is Bohemian, last residence (Province, City, or Town) Rechenberg, Final destination is Omaha, Nebraska. the amount of money is possession of was $15.00. Also asked if they were going to join a relative or friend and for their address, but it doesn't list a name, only an address of 18N. 226 Omaha, Nebraska.
1910 Census: Found James Benesh with wife and Daughter Mary, Son James and Daughter Helen. This record is nearly impossible to read though. The age for both James and his wife appears to be 30, but it's too hard to read. Ancestry has them listed as age 30, but that would mean both were born in 1880.
1920 Census: Found James Benes in Omaha Nebraska, age 38, occupation is butcher. His wife is Theresa and she is also 38, and her occupation is Janitress/Railroad. They are listed as home owners w/ mortgage. Year of Immigration is 1904 and the place of birth for both of them reads Bohemia and for both of their parents. The only child listed as being born in Bohemia is Mary which is really Marie. All other children are listed as being born in Nebraska. Naturalized Alien reads PA for James and AL for Theresa and Mary (Marie). They lived on South 18 Street.
1930 Census: Found James V. Benesh and his wife Teresa living in Omaha, NE. James is age 49 and Teresa is age 48. Both born in Czech. Age of marriage for James is 23 and for Teresa was 22. Year of immigration to the US in this census reads 1905. Children living with them; James F. age 24, Helen A. age 21, Josephine age 16, Joseph age 14, Sylva age 12,Anton (my mother said she had a brother named Tony) age 7 also born in Nebraska. Mary "Marie" would have been married to Robert Watson already.
