I'm not familiar with that name, although it is possible that a son or grandson married someone with it.
He probably lived with sons or daughters in Furnas County. Adam Keith was born in PA, then moved to Ohio, then Indiana, then Illinois, then Wisconsin, then went to the California gold fields, then went to Nebraska. He always seemed to be on the edge of the frontier. His children settled in various states, from Indiana to Nebraska and points in between.
His 18 children were, with the most probable NE starred:
**1. Lewis Keith, b 1816, d Feb. 6, 1908, Hastings, Adams County, NE, buried BladenCemetery, Bladen, Webster County, NE. (I believe he had 8 children.)
2. Ruhame Keith, b 1817
3. Henry Keith, b 1819
4. Elizabeth Keith, b 1821
5. Mary ‘Polly’ Keith, b 1823
6. Adam Keith, b 1825 (my great-great-grandfather)
7. Nancy Keith, b 1827
8. Benjamin Keith, b 1828
**9. Joseph Norris Keith, b 1830, lived for several years in Furnas County, but died in WI (had several children)
**The next 9 children were by his second wife, Hanna Mary Harris: (Hanna died Jan. 1, 1900 at Spring Green, Furnas Co., NE)
10. Richard Harris Keith, b 1832, thought to be in California
11. Mariah Jane Keith, b 1833
12. Mary Hannah Keith, b 1835
**13. William Jasper Keith, b 1838, d June 1, 1921, Spring Green Twp., Furnas County, NE
**14. Althy Caroline Keith, b 1841, d Oct. 2, 1919, University Place, Lancaster Co., NE (married Elisha Carrington)
15. Isobel Minerva Keith, b 1843
16. Althalinda Isabel Keith, b 1845
17. Ruhame Minerva Keith, b 1848
**18. Henrietta Clifton Keith, b 1853, d April 1937, Lincoln, Lancaster County, NE, burial at Arapahoe, Furnas County, NE (married Mortimer Reynolds)
Hope this is of some help.
