I'm trying to find the grave of Noah Cling... died in 1922 and buried in "Cowles Cemetery".Any help?
From The Commercial Advertisor, Red Cloud, Nebraska Friday, February 10, 1922, page 3, colume 1 Cowles (Special Correspondence) Mrs. Likely and Frank Cling of Hastings, came Friday, called by the death of their father, Mr. Noah Cling. Noah Cling was born in Baltimore, Maryland on 20 April 1820 and passed away 3 February 1922, bring aged 82 years, 9 months and 14 days. For the past seventeen weeks he has been unable to leave his bed. He was married 19 November 1862 to Emma Rowe. Three daughters, Mrs. C.C. Boren of Cowles, Mrs. F.O. Slater of Farnam and Mrs. William Likely of Hastings, two sons, Frank O. Cling of Hastings and William Cling of Cowles were born to them. Mr. Cling was a farmer by occupation but retired from the farm and moved to Cowles ten years ago. He is survived by the invalid wife, five children, twenty-five grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, besides many friends who offer symptahy to the bereaved family. At the age of 23 he became a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday morning, 5 February 1922 by Reverend W.W. Gettys and burial made in the Cowles cemetery. (Note that the year of birth above is incorrect... should be late 1830s as per various census records.)
