Hi Patricia,

Odd, but there is another entry for him, in Anglican Saint Luke, Montrealshowing him to be baptized Jan. 13, 1878 but it is crossed out and below it says this entry and the following made by mistake. Parents are shown as richard and Mary Ann
then there is a 3rd entry for Anglican Saint Luke, Montreal which shown parents Richard Dunn and marry Ann which says he was born May 1, 1877 baptized jan. 13, 1878
Mother's maiden name is not shown in any of the Saint Luke entries. Indexed under Dunn, no first name
I have not found birth/baptism for Edith but there is a marriage for her - to Arthur Robert Oct. 20, 1898and she is shown as daughter of Richard Dunn and Mary Ann Murray.

Odd thing is it is listed in Basilique Notre-Dame which I believe is Catholic

The image is cut off bit at the bottom but will give you what I can read
November 5, 1898 after dispensing of banns, marriage of Eduard Dunn, cigaret of Notre Dame du Bois, major son of Richard Dunn and Mary Ann (cannot read rest as it is at bottom - then goes to top of next page) D'OdetD'Orsennens of this parish, major daughter of Charles Ernest D'Odet fit D'Orsonnens and Leontine Bouchard of this Parish. Present Richard Dunn, father of the spouse, Charles Ernest D'Odet fit D"Orsennens, father of the spouse .

I could not find Edward and Ernestine in any census before 1930. I see in the 1920 passenger list for Ernestine she had daughter May with her, age 15. No other children - it seems odd that they would have one child about 1903/1905 and not another until 1924.
