Simon DOW, (born March 4, 1667 - will dated 1707), settled at Rye, NH; selectman; constable; Indian fighter; married 1st 1685 to Sarah Marston (1665 - 1698, daughter of Thomas Marston and Mary Easton).

Henry DOW, (born Ormsby, Norfolk Co., England 1608 - died 1659; son of Henry Dow)He was licensed on April 11, 1637 to emigrate to New England.Settled 1st in Watertown, Mass.He married in 1630 to Joan Nudd (widow of Roger Nudd).She was buried June 20, 1640 in Watertown, Mass.He married 2nd in 1640 to Margaret Cole of Dedham, Mass.Having bought land in Hampton, NH he moved there 1643-44.On the Jury there in 1648; selectman in 1651; representative in 1655, 1656.His will is dated March 16, 1659 and he died April 21, 1659.Widow Margaret (Cole) Dow married 2nd in October, 1661 to Richard Kimball of Ipswich, Mass.Administration on her estate was granted in March 1676.
