Found Dead Cooper Scott was found dead in his house on Wood street this morning by Mr. Biddle, who serves him with papers. Coroner Wilson was notified and viewed the body, and deemed an inquest unnecessary. The coroner thinks that he died sometime yesterday and that his death was caused by apoplexy. He was in the hotel yesterday morning and complained of feeling bad, and was urged to go home, which he did. he evidently died while sitting at the table, probably eating his dinner, as he was found lying on his back alongside of the table. Coroner Wilson ordered Undertaker Budd to prepare the body for burial. Mr. Scott was one of the oldest residents of Woddbury and is said to be 78 years of age. He was a painter by trade and an old war veteran.
