Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Remains at the parlors of the Ross-Burke Company.
POSTAL CLERK AT SPARKS DIES
Mrs. Letha W. McGregor, clerk in the Sparks postoffice for six years, died this morning in a Reno hospital following an operation performed on Tuesday. She had been ill for more than a month.
Mrs. McGregor was a native of Utah and had been a resident of Sparks for several years. She leaves an 8 year old son and is also survived by her mother and father.
Her mother resides in Derry, CA and her father, Calvin Phillips, is a resident of Sparks. She was 25 years old. Funeral services will probably be held here.

C. E. PHILLIPS DIES SUDDENLY AT WORK Calvin E. Phillips, well known Sparks man and former SP railroad conductor, died yesterday of a heart attack.
Phillips and A. J. Stankey of Sparks were cutting wood on the Purdy highway about 20 miles north of Reno, when Phillips died. The men had been working all morning and had just finished loading a truck.
Phillips was well known here, having resided in Sparks for 25 years. He retired from the Southern Pacific company here in 1911, but later worked on the coast division. For several years he had been in the employ of the Kellison and Poncia cigar store. (Survivors listed, same as above)
