Well first, thank you so much for taking the time to look up family that are not part of your line! I have to laugh because my head is spinning from your information. I love your deductive reasoning skills. I am not sure I follow everything you're saying at this point but will continue to study it to see how it might fit in. At the very least, it certainly gives me new directions to go in my research. Of course one challenge is that the Myers name seems pretty prolific in the New York area so I imagine it can be pretty easy to go down the wrong road! I have always found it a little intriguing that there is a Merlin M. Myers born 1825 that moves to Michigan. One thinks....there has to be a connection! I do know that this Merlin M. is NOT the son of my Merlin M because I feel confident that I have all of his children accounted for. But again, thank you so much for providing this information. I will have fun trying to unravel this! :)
