sorry, I don't have more info for you. I just started looking at the Browns. The widow, Mrs Brown (Mary Dailey) brought some of her children to Belmont Co Ohio about 1816. William was the oldest boy was already on his own.And John, William's brother, had married 1798 (Jane Hurley)and was part of the family moving to Ohio.John had a daughter in Greene Co in 1807 where he was a noted surveyor and member of PA house of Rep. And also a son, John jr., Jane, Eleanor and Sarah. you may find some info in the DAR records as the Sr William fought in the Rev War after coming from Ireland with his brother, Matthew.They were of Scotish origin, living in Ireland, but sought relief from religious presecution by coming to America.
