Tim,
Thanks very much. Yes I show Daniel J Anders records showing birth in both Tennessee and Clermont County. However his military and pension records show Clermont County so I'm tending to go with that. Also family verbal information says he was boen in Ohio. I'm gradually working through both his children and his siblings, so hopefully his mothers maiden name will pop-up.I found the Iowa records, regarding Christopher and Sally, in the Clermont County library.Unfortunatly I wasn't so organized back then and I can't find that data. I need to go back to the Clermont County Library which is probably a good thing since I now know a lot more about geneaolgy and am better organized. Both Daniel and brother George served together in the Ohio 71 OVI. But now I'm finding out that another brother, Lafayette Anders, might have served in 9th Indiana Cavalry out of Richmond Indiana. So this throws Indiana into the equation.I plan to obtain lafayette's military records.
Thanks
Steve
