Since I posted last, I have found a few things but not much. Hopefully someone will be able to help. Here is what I know:
My grandfather, Launey Frank King was a drinker. He belonged to The Eagles Club in Mansfield, Ohio. He wasn't a very nice person. He was abusive. They lived with no running water or electricity but he would have cases of beer and his chewing tobacco. He worked as a janitor at Mansfield Tire and Rubber where he retired and was also a farmhand. I believe he was a farmhand for the Moon farm and that is how he met my grandmother. They had 18 years between them. He had a stroke while on his tractor on the farm in 1962. Spent a few days in a nursing home and then died.
My uncle, Earl Francis King left home, never to see the family again. He joined the military (Air Force possibly). He lived in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, GA. He died at 50 years old. Born May 10, 1942-Dec. 13, 1992. He had no kids but possibly married a woman named Linda. I do know that Earl did visit Richland County and/or surrounding areas to see friends, never family.
I hope this rings a bell with someone. Maybe someone from The Eagles Club who knew him? Maybe someone who Earl visited when he came to town? I cannot find Earl's obit. I believe it was published in the Mansfield paper on Dec 14th, 1992.
