Help with Divorce Notation
I have a marriage certificate issued in Cleveland for my grandmother’s second marriage in 1923 (first marriage my grandfather). On the certificate it asks if married before and it states "Once".Next line is: "Div. Apr. 923 Ins Ct." The Cleveland (Cuyahoga County) records department says it translates to: "Divorced April 9, 1923", but they cannot figure out what "Ins Ct." means. Has any one run across this notation before? All help would be appreciated.
