You said that Marjorie's mother's maiden name was Lillian Alberta Sterling. Did she and Jack divorce? When Jack died, his wife was Delores, age 33.
Jack's death cert says that he had received treatment since August 9th, before dying in Barnes Hospital on Sept. 27th. Do you know of any relatives he had in St. Louis or could they have been visiting Marjorie?
As for Jack's obit, if he lived in Evansville, it probably was published in a newspaper there. Try the local library, http://local.evpl.org/http://local.evpl.org/ for a copy.

Friends may call at Jay Parrish Funeral Home, 12629 Detroit. Services at St. Rose's Church Wednesday at 9 a. m. Retired employe of the Cleveland Railway Co.
There is no female Logue whose given name is Marjorie or had a known middle initial of M, in the Cuyahoga Marriage Index through 1998. However, as was the custom then, many marriages were only recorded in the church, not in any civil records. Maybe Marjorie married in St. Rose's and the Diocese, http://dioceseofcleveland.org/http://dioceseofcleveland.org/, may have those records.
