Agnes E. Massey, a native of Boissevain, Va., came to Cleveland as a child 40 years ago. The former Agnes Shultz made her home on the city's West Side.
She had a heart condition for several years and was on disability insurance. Mrs. Massey, 46, died Thursday at Cleveland Clinic Hospital.
Surviving are her son, James; daughters, Patricia and Gloria, both of Cleveland; two grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
Services were yesterday at Bogner-Busch funeral home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
Agnes' husband was Roy Massey, Jr. After an 11 year marriage Agnes was granted a divorce in Cuyahoga County on 3 Jan 1976 due to gross neglect and extreme cruelty.
