Barbra, Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband..I'm so sorry. My husband and I will soon be married 31 years; he had a lung removed in 2002 and a very difficult 18 months thereafter. He's now retired and I've had to go back to work. I still try to cram as much research in as I can, between shifts at the hospital. Your wonderful help is MOST appreciated!
I love your story of how you became interested in genealogy.. my maternal grandmother was my inspiration - I always wanted to know about her parents, and theirs, and how she grew up. I've been researching for 14 yrs, but have also worked fulltime through my 3 kids and hubby's 5, so have not had the time I always wanted for this fascinating 'hobby'. I'm thankful my husband's life was saved, and we're able to be together - especially after hearing of your great loss. Thanks for reminding me to count my blessings always.. And THANKS for loving to help us poor souls tear down their brick walls!
