I located the obits of Alvin and Sylvia Clay Ulmer PETEE.

"Toledo Blade", Saturday, March 10, 1956:
Mrs. Sylvia E. Petee, 83, of 1915 Vermont Ave., a Toledo resident many years, died yesterday in Maumee Valley Hospital. Mrs. Petee was born in Bryan, O.
Suriving are daughtes, Mrs. Ethel Eshleman, Toledo; Mrs. Pearl Robertson, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Georgette Stoop, Alvordton, O.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Clegg Mortuary, East Broadway, with burial in Forest Cemetery.

"Toledo Blade", Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1937:
Alvin F. Petee, age 57 years, of 1027 Vinal St., died Wednesday a.m. Beloved husband of Sylvia. Friends may call at Worth Clegg Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment Forest.

In 1870, William is the 21 years old son of Jacob and Elizabeth, all living in Mill Creek Twp., West Unity post office, Williams, OH:

Elizabeth, 46, PA, keeps house
William, 21, OH, farm laborer
Sarah, 18, OH
John, 8, OH
Ida, 6/12, OH (born Jan 1870)

In 1860 the CLAY family, in Mill Creek Twp., consisted of:
Jacob, Elizabeth, Jeremiah 15 OH, Catharine 13 OH, William, Sarah, Barbara 4 OH and Adaline 1 OH.
