I ame not sure if you will even see this but I was looking for something else when I came across your message. I know that it was dated some time ago but I have information about Charles' family that you are missing.
You have a very large gap in your geneology that has already been traced back to when Johann Henreich Garlock or John Henry Garlough, (now spelled Gerlaugh) arrivedin Ohio in 1807. Part of the information came from an old german bible that belonged to Elisabeth Garlough who I believe is one of John's daughters.John is Adam Sr. brother
According our our family history, Arthur's father is actually Adam Jr, married to Catherine Haines.I was confused by the two Catherines and had to look 4 times before I caught Arthur's name. There were 10 siblings, 8 boys and 2 girls and third generation to be born in the US.Arthur would be my grandfather's great uncle making him my great, great, great uncle.
I have the complete linage up to some of my cousins and even some of their kids. There are three very old volumes of Greene County History that have been in our family for decades.I am not sure of the publisher, my sister has the books and I could pass the info on if you are interested.
