Since I do not live near Greene County, Ohio, I am posting my question.I could not find the answer online and hope someone REALLY knows the answer to this.
I know there is a cemetery in Bellbrook referred to as "Primitive Baptist Cemetery."I have a few ancestors buried there.I have one ancestor whom I have been told is buried in "Carmen Baptist Church Cemetery" in Bellbrook.I see where there is some other place (Middle Run Baptist Cemetery) which has some Carmen family buried, but I do not think that is the same as either of these.
I am guessing that Carmen Baptist Church Cemetery and Primitive Baptist Cemetery are the same place. Also, I think some now refer to this cemetery as "Fairview Primitive Baptist Cemetery."Can one of the LOCAL EXPERTS please clarify these for me??
In Fairview Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Bellbrook, Greene County, Ohio:
Belt, Whiteford (1812-1859) & Nancy (Dickensheets) (son) Belt, Perry (son) Belt, Merryman (dau) Belt, Anna M.
In Carman Baptist Church Cemetery, Bellbrook, Greene County, Ohio:
Dickensheets, Marianne (Drake) [1790-1844 & poss. with infant]
These are what I am trying to verify that I have them recorded correctly. If this is the same cemetery, then I need to know what is the correct name at this time.
Thank you for any clarification you may offer.Someday I would like to come and take photos of their graves and a photo of the cemetery frontage for my files, but I need to be sure I know where I am going first!LOL
