David Spring b. 1845 serving sentence for Grand Larceny at OH State Penitentary in Columbus, pardoned by Gov. and released Oct. 1865.Reocrds state his mother is Sophia Welter (Wilton?) living in Hancock Co., two half brothers living with mother, one Wm. Welter with 101st OH Volunteer Infantry.Also has one 1/2 sister.Penitentary physical description seems to match the photo I have of David Spring.
