Judy,
I haven't posted to this site for some time, and have not done a lot of research in the last ten years.A lot of the GARDNER information posted for Isaac & Nancy (ROSE) GARDNER by others was initially derived from what I have passed alone years back. Some of it is incorrect, most of it is heading in the right direction.I'm currently going through all my records and trying to get up to speed. Here is a clue to what I have on the individuals you asked about:
Isaac GARDNER, Jr.He was born about 1790/1793 in Maryland. He died on the 20th of August, 1853, in Harrison County, Ohio, and was buried in the Moorefield Cemetery, in Moorefield Township, Harrison County, Ohio.He was the son of Isaac GARDNER, Sr.(Mother uknown from father's 1st marriage; some suspect it may by Mary ?).
Isaac married Nancy ROSE on the 12th of May, 1818, in Harrison County, Ohio. She was born in 1800 in Ohio/Maryland, and died on the 2nd of April, 1838, in Harrison County, Ohio. She is also buried in the Moorefield Cemetery, in Moorefield Township, Harrison County, Ohio.(She is NOT the daughter of Robert ROSE as stated in research listed on the LDS website & other web sources...which all stemmed from information of mine from my families genealogical records, which has been proven incorrect).
I do have information on their children.
Also, in the past I constantly ran across the names of Isaac GARDNER & Mary VINNELL as a connection to the above names, but could not connect them in any possitive way.As I start up this research process again, I may delve into this information again. Thanks, Steve G.
