Ruby, there is an estate settlement for....

The settlements usually contain personal property, and debts owed/paid, but I don't think this is the one you're looking for, since the settlement was before Jonathan died, unless there has been a cemetery transcription error.

Shortly aft 1860 the SWINEHART family moved to Fulton/McDonough Cos IL.If you need the 1850-60 census for Holmes, let me know.Adam supposedly served in the CW from IL; Co H 11th IL, but didn't find this info on Ancestry.
I will assume you have found SWINEHART burial info on Find-A-Grave.....great photos of the family!
I suggest you write/call the Holmes probate ct re: will of Jonathan SMITH, but he may not have one.
