The 1860 census has Aaron Lovell Woolley, his wife Nancy M. Gee Woolley, and daughters Betsey, Mary, and Susan "keeping a hotel" in Greenwich Township. Living next door to Aaron & Nancy is their daughter Rebecca's family. Frank (Benjamin F. or Franklin) Holmes is married Rebecca Woolley and Rebecca's grandfather Joshua Gee is living in that household. He is 85. The cenus taker didn't get it exactly right--he recorded the daughter by middle name (Betsey, Delphine, & Viola) and he thought Joshua Gee was Joshua G. Holmes. B.F. Franklin married Rebecca Woolley in Huron Co. (I think). Betsey Woolley married Alexander Wishart in Greenwich in Huron Co. I believe the Woolley family left Tompkins Co. New York between 1850-1855. From other information I think they left Huron Co. about 1866. I would be interested in any information related to these families. I believe Joshua Gee died in Jan. 1865 at the age of 90 and wonder if he might be buried in Huron Co. Thanks for the help.
